The foundation of our philosophy is to develop imagination and creativity in children, and to familiarize them with the learning process in which they can play an active role and discover their own potential. Our goal is to discover in them the qualities and skills which may still be hidden, and help the child develop these qualities and skills as much as possible. In group activities, children also learn to cooperate, create and explore, and to not be discouraged by mistakes.
The relationship between staff and children is that of mutual respect – our teachers are well aware of the fact that every child is unique. We encourage and develop the children’s skills, self-confidence, self-control and individuality. The language we use allows us to establish an atmosphere of mutual respect, not that of superiority and manipulation.
Our goal is to encourage children do what brings them inner satisfaction. We want to encourage individuality, not to produce an obedient mass.
As for foreign language development, we believe that early foreign language learning is an investment in one’s future. For little kids there is no such thing as “foreign” language. They learn to perceive its melody, rhythm and structure. Kids learn using all their senses through sensation and experience. They just play, totally oblivious to the fact that they are learning English. By offering as many different kinds of activity as possible, our goal is to offer as much stimulation as we can, so that learning English is done in a manner as similar as possible to learning one’s native language. We use English to communicate with children of other nationalities, but we also develop their Czech language skills.
